Very nice restaurant located in the downtown of Bowling Green. Good and very friendly service (Savannah thank you! 😊) and delicious food. 👍🏻 They have a very nice short menu, which I really like. One may pick either some American burgers 🍔 or something classic, such as Crusted Chicken Rosa (which I had today) served with mashed potatoes and baked veggies. It was really delicious. Need to come back here and try some different things as well. Very much recommended. 👍🏻
This was our second visit to Gerard’s Tavern in Bowling Green, and it absolutely won’t be our last. The place was clean, well-kept, and the menu had a great variety. Lily T. started off seeming a bit busy, but she quickly found her rhythm and delivered excellent service. She was attentive, professional, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. The food was outstanding—no complaints whatsoever. Great experience all around.
Both lunch and dinner are absolutely DELICIOUS here! The restaurant is also so well designed, the vibes are amazing. Not to mention the staff, they were just all so positive and friendly! I know it sounds borderline cheesy, but we truly have such good experiences here that we'll keep coming back again and again! Truly 10/10 restaurant in BG!!
Very nice. Excellent food and interesting menu. We had the special appetizer Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls and they were maybe the best I have ever had. Food was all cooked on point. Soup of the Day was Chicken Chowder and it was great. Service was excellent. We had a party of seven and the hostesses went out of their way to comfortably accommodate us. Overall, great experience.
My recent visit to Gerard's 1907 Tavern was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The atmosphere is top-notch, and the cocktails are expertly crafted—definitely the perfect way to kick off the evening! For dinner, we ordered the beef stroganoff and the seared salmon, and both dishes were spectacular. The stroganoff was rich, comforting, and packed with incredible, savory flavor. The seared salmon was equally impressive, cooked to absolute perfection with a beautiful crust while remaining tender and flaky on the inside. What truly elevated our dining experience, however, was our server, Emonee. She was absolutely fantastic! Her welcoming energy made us feel right at home, and her menu recommendations were completely spot-on. She clearly knows the menu inside and out and went above and beyond to make sure our evening was unforgettable. I highly recommend Gerard's 1907 Tavern. The food and drinks are phenomenal, and if you go, definitely see if you can sit in Emonee's section! We will absolutely be back.

Loved this place. Showed up on a Saturday and was able to get seated without a reservation. The fact that they didn't turn us away and were able to serve us (4) with how busy they always are was amazing. So thankful for their kindness and especially our sweet waitress. She was so kind and she deserves a 5 star review herself. ❤️ Will definitely be back!
Gerards never disappoints! The food is always good, service is great and atmosphere vibrant! The daily specials are always good while the main menu staples are fail proof! You wont be disappointed!
I’m leaving a long review because this place deserves it. We’ve dined here at least a dozen times and I can say, without a doubt, that this is the best restaurant in town. If anyone else says their favorite restaurant is somewhere else, they’re lying, and are secretly gatekeeping THIS restaurant. They have the best burgers in town (with many to choose from), their specials are always good, the service is ALWAYS top notch, the prices are perfectly reasonable and the atmosphere of the restaurant is classy, yet casual enough to bring a date there last minute without worrying about being underdressed. The menu itself is thoughtfully upscale, yet familiar enough that everything sound’s appetizing while still sounding adventurous. The Parmesan eggplant fries with basil pesto aioli are hard not to love for an appetizer, and the fig and brie burger OR the pesto goat-cheese burger are both phenomenal options that will make you plan your next visit back to the restaurant after the first bite. If you live here and haven’t dined here yet, you’re missing out. Impress your wife and plan a surprise date here TONIGHT!
We stumbled on this gem and what a find it turned out to be! We were lucky to get a table, as it quickly filled up—always a good sign. Despite the rush, the service remained quick, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. The food was outstanding. I ordered the special tortilla soup, which was rich, hearty, and full of flavor. My wife chose the beef stroganoff, and she declared it as good as her grandmother’s—a true testament to the chef. Our daughter had the salmon, perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. The drinks were just as impressive. The seasonal sangrias were a hit with the girls—refreshing and delicious—while I enjoyed a blood orange agave margarita that was exceptionally smooth and well-balanced. From start to finish, everything was spot-on. A true hidden gem that we can’t wait to visit again.
